Black and White Concept Video

Since the last shoot went so well and tonight is my last night with the same camera before I go out of town, I've decided to shoot another short concept video, using some of the same techniques as the last, but improving on an old shot that I did in the last semester. I'd originally planned on combining color and black and white in the last shoot, but as I said in my last post the colors were so vibrant and the whole shoot worked better as a whole by keeping them consistent, so this time I'll be shooting a video entirely in black and white, once again using candle light. I'll also be using the blur lens filter again, but this time not the refraction lens since I'm not sure how it will look in black and white (I may do a couple test shots for this but not for use in this video.)

I'll be taking inspiration from the work of Larry Clark, Man Ray, and Wolfgang Tillman for this shoot. I don't have a shortlist planned out but I do know that I will be attempting to recreate the feeling that was intended when I filmed the shot below. I'd like to create a feeling of intimacy between the couple through the use of close ups and unconventional angles, rather than the ones I originally used for this scene. I will also use blur and close ups to reveal as well as concealing.
