Semester Two!

The start of semester two mean we removing as a class from the more theoretical aspects of the planning process to more practical research and planning. Since a lot of my film relies on post production and the filming of segments to be cut in with the character driven scenes, planning this is going to be essential to making the final cut an easier process overall. Because of this, I've separated my goals for this semester into three segments.

1. Learning
- colorgrading
- sound design
- adobe aftereffects

2. Psychedelic Segments (research, planning, and experimentation)
- animation - 3 small Yoko ono animations
- animation - learn walk cycles
- animation - recreate original plant animations from semester 1 with new knowledge
- experimentation with lens filters
- research into audio reactive videos
- recreation of a Liquid Light Show
- planning/ possible recreation of Acid Test exhibitions

3. Planning the Final Film
- location scouting
- planning crew

I've also bought my own camera but it came damaged so I'll be trying to get that fixed and plan which other cameras will be needed for the shoot, as well as research on lenses and what equipment I'll need to buy/ rent to make the week/two weeks of shooting as smooth as possible.
