Learning Animation Basics
Over the past two days I've been trying to become more comfortable using adobe animate and learning the key principles of animation. After learning how to use the software, I've followed tutorials explaining 2 key principles:
1. Timing/ Spacing
The three types shown in this gif are :
constant motion
ease in
ease out
2. Squash and stretch
How an image can be elongated to show movement and force
Ive also been looking at how the look of an animation is affected by hand drawing each frame or using the tween feature.
These are all very basic concepts, but im glad that I managed to take the time to learn them and make these gifs. Now that I understand these concepts most of the lessons are following on to character animation, which I'm not going to be doing quite yet. I'm going to focus on the main two animations I have planned for the title sequence and see if they are possible with my current skillset and time limit.
